A symbolic wedding celebrated in a special venue.
The story I am telling is not exactly recent, but it is definitely one that I will cherish most! Guy and John contacted me in 2007, to start working on their May 2008 wedding. What I thought was really exciting was that they had selected the Abbey of San Galgano to celebrate their love. The famous roofless abbey is one of the most enchanting venues in the province of Siena. Tuscany had always been a vacation spot for Guy and John, how could they not choose it for their wedding? The intimate ceremony took place in a sunny May morning; only Guy’s children and some close friends participated, also in the ribbon ritual and in singing the beautiful Ketubah on the ancient stone table. Max the piper underlined the most touching moments of the wedding, and the Prosecco toast at the end of the ceremony marked the moment when the doors opened for the school kids on a field trip, uselessly looking for the bride. The best piece of news is that shortly after their wedding in Tuscany, Guy and John were officially married in California.
