Lucy and Tony were married one year ago in a very intimate ceremony with the backdrop of an ancient castle in beautiful Val d’Orcia. Fate made them meet later in life, but their love was strong and let them create a wonderful new life together, crowned by this heartfelt wedding. Lucy said: Tony just loves me for who I am. He sees me in all my best times and in my worst times and loves all of me. Just as I do with him. He really is my best friend. Tony makes my heart feel like it’s a rose that is opening and filling up with sunshine.
And Tony added: Lucy has lit up my life from the moment our eyes first met. Her smile can lighten any mood. I can feel her happiness, and I know that I am a part of what is making her happy.

They chose the Toast to Life ritual, and their respective children sent me messages I read on their behalf.

This was the vow they pronounced during the exchange of the rings: I come to this place as me, and all that is in my heart, mind and life, will in this special moment and through this symbolic ring, show that with love and with trust, I will leave this place as we.
