Her job as event manager in a Villa in the Florence countryside allowed her to realize that planning destination wedding was her thing; she learned the importance of details, empathy towards clients and most of all she really felt excited at creating unique and unforgettable experiences for the couples and all their guests. Elena founded Italian Wedding Designer in 2011; her company mirrors what she most likes in life: planning, visiting beautiful places, working with people from all over the world, discovering new cultures and overlooking every detail with passion.   \nIn 2011 when her friend Elena asked to join the wedding business, Silvia decided to give it a try, and soon realized that working backstage, making sure that everything runs smooth and that all the set-up details are on point, as well as meeting people from all over the world, are the main reasons why she loves destination wedding planning. Her favorite parts of a wedding day are the arrival of the bride, the speeches, and the dancing.
